Our Story
Organizational Profile
BIJOY Foundation is a civil society organization run by a group of committed youth dedicated to the betterment of underprivileged, poverty-stricken children and Youth of Bangladesh. The organization was founded in January 2013 by Ferdous Hasan Kaysan, a Bangladeshi youth. BIJOY focuses mainly on battling illiteracy and malnutrition in children and on rehabilitating their families to better environments and social conditions. BIJOY is currently directed to conducting activities to provide more long-term and sustainable benefits to children who are from families which are below the International Indicator of Poverty. Our second core program is facilitating volunteering services for youth on education and every crucial social issue that rebuilds the nation. BIJOY Foundation plans to expand in the future to embrace issues like social entrepreneurship, women empowerment, sustainable development, community participation, information technology, and environmental management and so on.
Target Group
Education Sector: The development programs of BIJOY Foundation are designed for underprivileged people whose daily income is day laborers, sharecroppers, landless, asset less, homeless, marginalized business-people, destitute women, and underprivileged children. We also focus on urban/rural poor people, urban slum dwellers, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) of urban / rural area.

Area of Operation
BIJOY Foundation has been currently operating in Agargaon since 2014. It currently works in four districts of Bangladesh opening up five schools. One more school is soon to be inaugurated within 2023 in Sylhet. Our long term goal is to open one school in each district of Bangladesh and serve the nation.
